5 Things To Do and avoid covid-19

Stay safe, have a good time & recharge

With crowded attractions shutting down, we’re all feeling a little stir crazy. Right now is the perfect time to slow down and to recenter yourself. Below are five ways you can stay safe and get out of the house. Remember, only do what you’re comfortable with and be extra cautious if you are in a high-risk category.

First, here are a couple of important expert recommended tips to keep you well.

  1. Wash your hands frequently. All health care experts agree that frequently washing your hands is one of the most effective defenses against the Coronavirus.

  2. Keep your hands away from your face.

  3. Limit your exposure to groups of people and try to keep at least a 6 foot separation between you and others.

Hike

Take a morning hike to get outside the house, get some fresh air and keep a safe distance from others at the same time.

Start by exploring Willis Palms Loop or Pushwalla Loop just a couple minutes down the road at the Coachella Valley Preserve. Get a map of trails at the preserve.

Meditate

Take a moment to slow down and recenter. During these stressful times, it’s important to take a deep breathe and not lose sight of the things that matter the most.
